Rope Edge Protector Mat
This Rope Edge Protector Mat protects working ropes from abrasions and friction damage when hanging over the edge of a concrete slab, wall or steel beam.
It is made from strong wear resistant canvas with polyurethane stiffeners sewn into it for rigidity. Steel eyelets along the top and bottom edge allow the mat to be secured to the structure to hold it in place.
Rope edge protector mats are commonly used with rescue kits because they reduce friction between the rope and slab edge providing aid in the raising and rescue of a casualty.
