When Working at Height a Rescue Plan and suitable equipment to conduct the rescue of a falling and potentially injured person when working at height should be in place and they should not require a reliance on the emergency services.
Rescue planning for a construction project has to consider many factors notably that the working height increases progressively affecting the decision to lower or raise a casualty.
The features of the structure will also affect a Rescue plan for example, there could be access for elevated platforms on some elevations whereas on others the ground may not be suitable for vehicles.
We offer site-based Rescue Training during which the geometry structure is considered before rescue planning and simulations are demonstrated and practised.
