Scissorsafe anchor points can be useful for the life of a building providing safe connections points for maintenance and avoiding the need to drill into permanent finishes in buildings.
The Scissorsafe cover disk is simply pushed into the void former, sits flush with the concrete and can be easily removed using a flat blade or screwdriver.
RECENT PROJECT
Leading developer Dandara specified that scissorsafe anchor points should be cast into the underside of balconies on three large simultaneous projects in Salford, Leeds and Birmingham.
The anchor points were utilised during construction for balcony rail and rainscreen installation.
Cover caps have been placed over the void formers so that they can be used for the life of the building when maintenance work is undertaken on balconies and perimeters.
Sir Robert McAlpine, Galliford Try and Interserve were Principle Contractors on these prestigious projects.
