This Deadweight man anchor is for Work Restraint or Fall Arrest in locations where anchorage cannot be achieved using drilled or clamped anchor devices.
Deadweight man anchors are generally used on non-penetrative surfaces i.e industrial roof’s or balconies but are also useful for installing temporary edge protection on bridges and infrastructure projects.
They are equally effective when used as a single user anchor device or when used to anchor a temporary horizontal lifeline where two simultaneous users can operate in work restraint.
Please note however that freestanding anchors rely on weight only and need some friction from the surface they are sitting on.
If you are planning to work on a smooth surface these deadweight anchors will not be suitable.
