Made from 100% polyester fibre, with a safety factor of 7:1. Duplex slings are half the width of a Simplex sling, but double the thickness with the same working load limit.
Duplex slings are colour coded to help identify the relevant working load limit and individually labelled and sewn in a contrasting colour thread so that broken thread patterns are easily detected.
Duplex slings are individually labelled stating the working load limit, sling number, material, length and date of manufacture, in addition to any relevant lifting information.
Manufactured in the UK to conform to BS EN1492-1:2000 in addition to “Machinery Directive 2006/42/EEC,” with a safety factor of 7:1.
