COMPONENT DESCRIPTION
This Adjustable beam clamp is designed for connecting a Work Restraint or Fall Arrest System.
It is manufactured in by Ikar from aluminium with a Nickel plated lanyard connector and dee ring for harness connection made to and carrying a Declaration of conformity to EN 795 : 2012.
When attached to a steel beam this clamp will remain in position, it is not designed to slide along the section so is not suitable for applications that require constant movement.
This clamp jaws are spring loaded jaws with tightening screws for secure connection to the bottom flange of steel section I Beams 84mm-265mm wide with maximum flange thickness of 23mm.
Ikar ABC Clamps can be used individually to anchor the user when connecting to it using a Work Restraint or Work Positioning Lanyard or a Self retracting fall arrest device.
Alternatively they can be used in pairs at each end of a Horizontal Lifeline ( Running-line) and linked with Webbing slings to EN795 and karabiners.

This Anchorage device can be used if in usable condition and regularly inspected for five years in the first ten years from manufacture.
