SafetyRespect VT is a Systemised Temporary Edge Protection System to en 13374 Class A
It is designed to prevent falls from height during the construction of steel framed structures with metal-decking or precast concrete floors using brackets that allow fixing to the Top, Side or underside of steel sections.

SIDE-FIX
Steelweb is a side-fixed bracket is used to allow a clearance along the top flange of the steel section for installation of Steel Facade Sections (SFS) or Masonry.
Steelweb Brackets are pre-assembled to pre-determined horizontal and vertical clearances. These Brackets hold the Post on which Barriers are supported connected to steel sections through a single pre-drilled hole in the section.
This system dramatically reduces site erect times by pre-assembling Steelweb Brackets to pre-designed settings for Horizontal and Vertical spacings.
TOP FIX
Top fixing is achieved using a Sacrificial Socket. These are usually shop-welded and allow insertion of the Post on top of the Steel Section leaving the external elevation.
This method is utilised when the structure is to be fitted with Curtain walling.
UNDERSLUNG
Steel Flange Clamps are attached to the bottom flange of the steel sections and are usually used along phase-breaks of larger structures.
They are installed using only a hammer and have a off-set range of 500mm from the edge of the steel section.
PLANNING & DETAILING
Tekla detailing is included in our safety package for steel structures which determines positions for drilled-holes or sacrificial welded sockets which can be undertaken during fabrication.
