A Tool Lanyard acts as a connecting device between the tool or object and the anchor point which allows their use whilst maintaining an attachment that will arrest their fall if they are accidentally dropped when in use.

PRODUCT INFORMATION
RGTL5-3 FLAT WEBBING TOOL LANYARD WITH TWIN CONNECTORS
This RGTL5-3 Tool Lanyard is made from 20mm RIDGE* Protect polyester webbing with 10mm double action karabiners at each end which makes it easy to connect to anchor points including safety harnesses, wrist straps or workbelts.
These Tool Lanyards are manufactured in the UK using high contrast polyester webbing with an overall length of 1000mm.
The load-rating on this tool lanyard is 3kg.
CONNECTING TOOLS
This Tool Lanyard has a Steel Connector at each end which means that it can be connected to a small tool with an Anchor point manufactured into it, or a retro-fitted connection consisting of a Dee-Ring fixed to the Tool with Tethering Tape.
ANCHORING FOR LIGHT TOOLS
This version of our Tool Lanyard has a locking connector at each end. Its load rating of 3kg. means that it can be connected to the user to act as an Anchor Point. A Safety Harness, Workbelt or Wrist Strap will provide this.
FREEFALL DISTANCE
If the tool or object connected to this Tool Lanyard is dropped it will be allowed to free fall 1000mm so the user needs to ensure that there is no one working inside the fall distance.
